Payments are processed via Stripe. Membership fees are charged in advance and are non-refundable. Unused searches expire with the membership. Prices exclude applicable taxes (VAT).

Additional Search Requests

If included searches are exhausted, additional expert searches can be requested.

Allows clients to submit expert requests without disclosing their identity during the initial search phase.


This option requires additional communication and filtering and is recommended for competitive or sensitive tenders.

What Is Included in Every Search

Regardless of the membership plan, every expert search includes:

  • Verification of required certifications

  • Assessment of years of experience and project value thresholds

  • Geographic and legal eligibility checks

  • Language proficiency validation

  • Review of task description and engagement timeframe

  • Confirmation of candidate interest and availability

Delivery Timeline

Response time: within 7 days per search request

 

This timeframe ensures proper candidate outreach, verification, and confirmation, resulting in reliable, tender-ready expert profiles.

Important Notes

  • Membership is required to submit expert requests

  • If no suitable candidate exists, the request is not counted

  • If a verified candidate declines after reviewing the client’s offer or conditions, the request is considered fulfilled

  • Pricing excludes applicable taxes (VAT, where applicable)

  • Any unused search requests expire with the membership and are not transferable or refundable.

​​These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the ObsidianCert platform and services. By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or submitting a search request, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Scope of Services

​

ObsidianCert provides a subscription-based platform for identifying and verifying certified professionals for tenders, public procurement, and project-based engagements.

The service includes manual expert searches, verification of certifications and experience, eligibility checks, and confirmation of candidate availability and interest. ObsidianCert does not act as an employer, recruiter, or contracting party between clients and candidates.

2. Membership and Access

​

Access to the platform requires an active annual membership.
Membership grants the right to submit expert search requests according to the selected plan.

Memberships are non-transferable and valid only for the subscribing organization or individual.

3. Search Requests and Usage Limits

​

Each membership plan includes a defined number of expert search requests.

  • Search requests are consumed upon completion of the search process.

  • Additional searches may be purchased separately.

  • Unused search requests do not carry over and are forfeited upon membership expiration or termination.​
     

4. Search Process and Delivery Timeline

​

All expert searches are conducted manually.
Each request is reviewed, candidates are identified and contacted directly, and relevant criteria are verified.

Clients will receive a response within 7 calendar days from submission.
This timeframe is required to ensure proper outreach, verification, and confirmation of candidate availability and interest.

5. Candidate Availability and Engagement

​

ObsidianCert verifies candidate willingness and availability at the time of the search.
However, ObsidianCert is not responsible if a candidate later declines engagement due to commercial terms, project conditions, or changes in availability.

A search is considered fulfilled once suitable, verified candidates are presented.

6. No-Match Policy

​

If no suitable candidate can be identified based on the provided criteria, the search request will not be counted against the client’s included or purchased searches.

7. Anonymous Requests

​

Clients may request anonymous searches as an optional add-on service.
Anonymous requests require additional handling and communication and are subject to an additional fee per request.

8. Payments, Renewals, and Refunds

​

All membership fees and additional services are payable in advance.

  • Memberships renew annually unless cancelled prior to renewal.

  • Fees are non-refundable once the membership period has started.

  • No refunds are provided for unused search requests or early termination.

Prices exclude applicable taxes (VAT), where applicable.

9. Client Responsibilities

​

Clients are responsible for providing accurate, complete, and clear information when submitting search requests.
ObsidianCert is not responsible for delays or limitations resulting from incomplete or inaccurate input.

​

10. Limitation of Liability

​

ObsidianCert’s liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question.
Under no circumstances shall ObsidianCert be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business or tender outcomes.

11. Confidentiality

​

All information submitted by clients and candidates is treated as confidential and used solely for the purpose of delivering the requested services.

​

12. Governing Law

​

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the applicable jurisdiction of Obsidian Ventures, without regard to conflict of law principles.
